An exciting and instructive year awaits you as a representative of THE Financial Study Association of Groningen! Risk has over 900 members, 50 active members and lots of activities, like the Risk Conference, the Risk International Financial Program, and the Risk Magazine. As a Board Member these activities will all fall under your responsibility!

After the Chairman is announced on January 16th, we will start looking for a Secretary, a Treasurer, Coordinator commercial relations, and Coordinator internal relations. The deadline for applying for each of these functions is February 6th 2012. On Wednesday the 15th of February, KPN will come to Groningen to offer a financial case to twenty of our most ambitious students. Together with three colleagues you will work on this case and the four students that performed the best will go to the final. This final round will take place on February the 29th and March the 1st and 2nd. During these three days the four selected students will stay in an exclusive location which will be announced soon. There you will work on a case from all participating multinationals, but this time you will have to compete with students from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Tilburg and Maastricht! From the 19th till the 26th of February the Risk Banking Tour will take place. During the first three days 25 selected students will visit ABN AMRO, Holland Corporate Finance, Rabobank, Optiver en Kempen & Co. The next three days we will visit London were we will visit Credit Suisse, Citibank and JP Morgan. On Saturday you will have the possibility to see London and at the end of the day we will travel back to the Netherlands. You will stay in the Rho Hotel in Amsterdam and go to London by boat! Participation in the Banking Tour costs 50 euro.
