Financial Association Netherlands

The Financial Association Netherlands (FAN) is a national platform to strengthen the ties between the different financial students' associations in the Netherlands and companies. Associations from Amsterdam (FSA), Groningen (RISK), Maastricht (FS FOCUS), Rotterdam (FSR) en Tilburg (FST) are connected with the FAN.

The aim of the cooperation is to bridge the gap between theory and practice. FAN is of the opinion that cooperation on a national level leads to a better information for students on the one hand, and on the other hand it offers opportunities for the business world. Through its countrywide coverage, FAN has a unique network of financial students on different universities in the Netherlands. The connected students' associations distinguish themselves from other associations by focussing on the workfields Accountancy, Finance and Controlling.

Amongst other things, FAN takes care of countrywide nailings and the National Investment Competition
