How finance and investment management is influencing business

Throughout this workshop René van der Veen, founder of Revitance Nutrition and Zuivelrijck, will describe how finance and investment management is an important part of decision making in doing business. Whether as employee of a multinational company or as entrepreneur in setting up his own business. The workshop is dealing with dilemma’s in decision making, setting up international co-operations, calculated risks, sometimes following the rules and occasionally breaking them.

René graduated in 1996 in Business Administration (Dutch: Bedrijfskunde) at the University of Groningen. After his graduation René joined the Mergers and Acquisition department of the Dutch dairy cooperative Coberco (now part of FrieslandCampina). Throughout his career he worked in a wide range of commercial and management positions in the dairy industry in the Netherlands, South East Asia and the Middle East.

In 2005 René started his own company Revitance Nutrition, an international company specialised in Healthcare Nutrition tailored to Diabetes. Five years later René launched his second company called Zuivelrijck, a company specialised in organic dairy with key focus on the Dutch market.
