NIBC is looking for an Intern for our Business Management Team Corporate Banking!

Business Management Corporate Banking supports the management of the SBU Corporate Banking and BUs (Client Sectors, Products and Countries) in managing their business with strategy/agenda/action setting, budget and performance measurement, organisational improvement, client relationship management and client satisfaction.
The Business Management team currently consists of seven professionals, each with different roles and responsibilities. As part of the team you will be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the bank and quickly gain insight in a broad range of NIBC activities. This Internship is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the operational management of a bank organization.
What will you do?
Business Management Corporate Banking supports the management of the SBU Corporate Banking and BUs in strategy, organisational improvement, budget and (financial) performance management. The team operates in close cooperation with the commercial BUs as well as supporting departments such as Finance, IT, Risk and HR. Your contribution will vary per assignment and comprises of amongst others the following activities:
- Conducting (sub-)sector/market analysis; market intelligence;
- Performing external/internal database analyses (prospect selection, client data);
- Analysing client related activities within Corporate Banking (origination activity; pipeline conversion);
- Maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders within the organisation such as commercial departments as well as professionals from other departments of NIBC.
Who are we looking for?
A committed, self starting and flexible team player with strong numerical- and analytical skills as well as good verbal and written communication skills. You should have affinity with the banking/financial sector and banking products.

What will you bring?
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance/Accountancy, Business Analytics or Business Information Management;
- Excellent academic results and extra-curricular activities;
- Excellent MS Excel skills;
- “Think Yes” mentality: Forward-thinking, can-do mentality, self-starter and result oriented;
- Fluent in English. Dutch and/or German is a pre.
